Accreditation is how third-party organizations formally acknowledge a company is in compliance with industry standards. LifeSynchSM has received accreditation from several organizations -- URAC and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
Accredited by Standard-Setting Organizations
URAC Accreditation
LifeSynch is URAC accredited for health utilization management (since 1992) and for case management (since 2008).
URAC's accreditation is used to meet state regulatory requirements, and its standards are developed with the help of nationwide experts in healthcare – providers, insurers, healthcare organizations, and public interest groups.
NCQA Accreditation
LifeSynch has received full accreditation from NCQA for Managed Behavioral Health Organization (MBHO) since 2005 and the accreditation was renewed in 2008.
“LifeSynch’s MBHO Accreditation is proof that it’s an organization which works hard to coordinate care, ensure access and provide good customer support for members,” said Margaret E. O’Kane, NCQA President, “It’s a sign that LifeSynch is focused on improving the behavioral health of its members.”
