Recredentialing
LifeSynch providers are recredentialed on a three-year cycle in compliance with NCQA’s credentialing standards. At the time of recredentialing, LifeSynch asks providers to supply an updated application, licensure(s), certification(s), and professional liability insurance.
How Recredentialing Works
LifeSynch sends letters to providers notifying them that it is time for them to be recredentialed. Some providers will receive a recredentialing application, requesting updated licenses, insurance, etc. Others will simply receive a letter directing them to the LifeSynch Website where they can access the application mandated by their state.
As an alternative, providers may request that their CAQH application be used for recredentialing by providing their CAQH number.
When the recredentialing application is complete and all verifications are performed, the provider is presented to the Credentialing Committee for approval.
Two Ways to Submit a Recredentialing Application
Option 1: Use CAQH Process
Note: This is the required process for providers in Indiana, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington, D.C.)
If you have a CAQH number, you may call the Credentialing Department at 1-800-890-8288 or fax the CAQH Information form to Attention: Credentialing Department 1-866-771-0574.
